About our history
Syncom was founded in 1988 as start-up of the University of Groningen. At that time, we were one of the pioneers offering contract services. Since then, our company quickly evolved into a major player within the Pharma and Biotech industry. Syncom currently employs 130 chemists (60% PhD) and it is located in Groningen (The Netherlands).
In August 2017, Syncom and Mercachem (Nijmegen, the Netherlands) merged and the MercachemSyncom group was created. Together we are the largest European small molecule service provider. The MercachemSyncom group consists of over 300 chemists, spread over three locations (Groningen, Nijmegen and Prague).
MercachemSyncom continues expanding to become your preferred partner for integrated drug discovery services.
